Frederick MANSON Obituary
He was born December 11, 1953 in Warren, OH, the son of Burley Manson and June Tannan Freeman.
Frederick was employed with the Warren Trumbull Urban League for 14 years as a Staff Manager for the Christy House. He also worked for Peerless-Winsmith Inc., HK Porter and RDR Machine. He was a 1972 graduate of Warren Harding High School.
He was a Coach for the Warren City Little League and enjoyed baseball and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State University football fan.
He married Lavonne "Vonnie" Coleman Manson November 4, 2017.
Besides his wife of Warren, he leaves to mourn three sons, Brad Manson, Mario Patterson and Brandon Coleman all of Warren; three daughters, Ms. Erika Coleman of Warren, Ms. Candace Patterson of Booneville, Miss. and Ms. Takeila Patterson of Ypsilanti, MI; one stepson, Andre (Lashonda) Coleman of Lordstown; three stepdaughters, Ms. Tarika Coleman, Ms. Marshetta Coleman and Ms. Adrienne Coleman all of Warren; one brother, Thomas (Emme) Freeman of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; two sisters, Ms. Michelle Freeman and Ms. Glynis Freeman both of Warren; forty-four grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one special cousin, Wallace Walters of Warren and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Tawon Sugick; one stepson, Chauncey Coleman; three brothers, Burley Manson, Stanley Manson and Gordan Manson and one sister, Ms. Donna Redman Provitt.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the St. James Church of God in Christ; with Calling Hours from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Condolences may be sent to Mrs. Lavonne Coleman Manson, 486 Third Street, S.W., Warren, OH 44483.
Arrangements of comfort were handled by the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Home.
