Age 73, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 in Whiting, IN. Cherished son of Vivian (late Richard) Buck (nee Black) and the late Frederick W. Nimon Sr. Loving father of Frederick J. (Kari) Nimon, Jeffery T. Nimon and Laura B. (Juan) Vega. Caring papa of Desiree, Jeffrey, Brideen, Frederick, Max and Joseph.Former spouse of Loretta.Kind brother of Murray (Lori) Nimon and BarbaraLuth. Dearest uncle and brother-in-law of Tony Howell. He will also be missed by many children that he took on as his own and grandchildren who had the pleasure of calling him "Papa."
Born and raised in Roseland, and former East Sider, Bill was a jack of many trades.Truck driver, laborer of the steel mill, crane operator, mechanic, artist, the list goes on forever.There was not much he couldnt do.Bill loved spending time with his family and making everyone laugh, even in the hardest times.He enjoyedscratching lottery tickets, eating junk food, and coloring pictures.
With respect to State of Illinois Guidelines, social distancing and face masks that cover the mouth and nose are required upon entry at the funeral home(face masks will not be provided by the funeral home).
