Mr. William Othell Nimon, age 58 of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, October 5th, 2025, at Advent Health Gordon.
Mr. Nimon was born in McComb, Mississippi on January 20th, 1967, a son of the late Othell Nimon and Phyllis Jean Ridenour Nimon. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Forster and Tammy Albritton. Mr. Nimon was employed by Moore Equipment Sales and later, Autotality. He was a member of Sugar Valley Baptist Church. He enjoyed yard sales, estate sales, car shows, and car races. When he wasn’t outdoors, you could often find him in the kitchen, making his candies, mixing up some of his favorite recipes,and grilling for his family- getting ready for a good meal. With a big personality and an infectious smile, he never met a stranger. He loved to meet new friends and most of all, spend time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Marie Wicker Nimon; one son, Austin Nimon and his wife, Emily; two daughters, Ashley Nimon and Hannah Baker; one brother, John K. Nimon; one sister, Brenda Thompson; Poppy of eight grandchildren, Clara Nimon, Breanna Baker, Kacen Nimon, Hudson Nimon, Allie Baker, Hadley Nimon, Michael Nimon, and Jace Lemons; several loved nieces, nephews, and life-long friends.
The family will celebrate William’s life with a private service.
