Frederick Smuk Obituary
Smuk, Frederick H., passed away July 30, 2023 at age 91. He is predeceased by his parents Emil and Helen Smuk and his son Kurt. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Carol Ann, children Ken (Amy) Smuk, Kathryn Smuk, Kim (Mike) Lyons, Karen (Dan) McBride, daughter-in-law Ellie (Kurt) Smuk, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Fred was very active with the Liederkranz Golf League. He was a Past President of the NYS Council PDCA and the Rochester chapter PDCA. He enjoyed playing Gin Rummy and family favorite, UNO.
Fred participated in the anatomical gift program at the University of Rochester Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, Fred requested contributions to be made to our local Lollypop Farm or St. Jude's Hospital in his memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to his good friend Joseph Klein.
