Fred loved writing, travel, and the theatre. He was very proud of his Philadelphia roots. He was a big supporter of women's equality and animal rights. His friends remember him for his sense of humor, erudition and wit. Fred served on the board of the Delaware River Port Authority as a community representative and on the board of his condo association.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen Beth Davis, his sister-in-law Stephanie Davis and his brother-in-law Gordon Davis.
In lieu of flowers, and especially in these dark times, please consider a gift to your local Planned Parenthood.

So many wonderful memories of Fred from back in the 70´s and 80´s.
Until recently, the last time I saw him was at my wedding almost 40 years ago.
Just recently, Fred and I got together for lunch and it was like no time had passed. Karen, thanks you for letting me know of Fred´s passing.
