Frederick Thomas Obituary

Frederick William Thomas was born on October 7, 1951 in Owosso, son of Russell J. (Ardis) Thomas Jr. He enjoyed collecting Fenton glass, visiting with the elderly, playing piano, and collecting sheet music over the years which included mostly classical and gospel. Frederick was raised and lived all of his life on the family farm in Bennington Township. Prior to his retirement in 2008, he had worked for Memorial Healthcare Center for 35 years.
Frederick is survived by his brother, Russell Thomas III; nieces, Julie (David) Hermann and Jennifer (John) Wise; and nephew, Jabe (Sarah) Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Thomas Jr. and Ardis Thomas.

I met Fred a couple of years ago at our favorite coffee shop. Sometimes I would work while I was there and he would just sit and watch and visit. When he moved to Hazel Findlay, my dog, Daisey and I would visit or take him out for dinner or ice cream or just to go for a drive. He loved his Angel Daisey. She brought him so much joy. Fred was a kind man with a hilarious sense of humor. I will truly miss our visits, and I know Daisey will, too. Thank you for being such a special friend to us, Fred We love you
