Frederick Westerman Obituary
After graduating from Bayside High School in Queens, NY, Grant attended Lehigh University graduating in 1961 with a degree in Finance and he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He later graduated from Officer Candidate School in Newport, RI in 1962 and was commissioned as an officer in the Navy, serving until 1965. He later earned a Master's degree in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1976.
For over 25 years, Grant worked for Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JP Morgan Chase) in various executive positions in New York City. He subsequently relocated to Rochester, NY as President of the upstate banking division. His passion for golf took him to Naples, FL in 1994 where he served as Chief Financial Officer for Shaw Development until his retirement in 2011.
Grant was preceded in death by his former wife of 20 years, Jane Stehle Westerman in 2003, and his loving companion, Ena de Baboun in 2011. Grant is survived by his brother Robert Westerman (his wife, Leslie); his children Rick and Sunny Westerman; his grandchildren Julia, Derick and Demian Westerman; his nieces Jill Westerman Reinert (Eric) and Laura Westerman Tanner (Chris) and their children; as well as many cousins, friends, colleagues, and extended family including Ena de Baboun's family, and especially his longtime and closest friends, Jim and Fran Shaw and their family.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Such wonderful memories of our years together at Manny Hanny. And would always keep in touch through the years; especially at the Holiday time. RIP Grant!

To Grant´s family, we send our sincerest sympathy. We just heard of his passing and are so saddened. We always looked forward to at least one get together while in Naples. RIP Grant who was Ed´s long lost Polish brother. You will be missed and never forgotten. Our hearts are heavy. Ed and Joanie Papis
