Frederick "Fred" Wiegand

Frederick 'Fred' Wiegand passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2023 at the age of 90. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Lois (née LeGros) and beloved son Gary. Loving father of Robert (Mary) and Brian (Donna). Proud Grandfather to Richard (Natalie), Christopher, Catherine and Deborah. Great-Grandfather to Anja and Luka. His quick wit, one-liners, jokes, loving and generous spirit will be missed by all those who loved him, both family and friends including his travel companion Sylvia.
Fred worked for AC Spark Plug/Delco Electronics for over 41 years and was active in and the leader of Cub Scout (Pack 60) and Boy Scout (Troop 260). Fred and Lois spent many hours volunteering their time as ushers for the Pabst, Riverside, Milwaukee Rep & Marcus Theaters and made many lifelong friends there. They also took three trips to Europe and traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Harwood Place and Froedtert Hospital for their caring and compassion.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee on Saturday April 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Followed by a private internment at Resurrection Cemetery. The family respectfully requires all attendees to wear a mask when they visit.
