Frederick Wallace Windsor (86) passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born on January 11, 1939 in Brentwood, NY to Sydney and Josephine Windsor. Fred is preceded in death by the love of his life, Frances Windsor. He leaves behind their children Kerrie (Frank) and Matthew (Wendi) as well as their grandson, and his best friend, Sean (Michelle). He is also survived by his children Jeffrey and Christine, and grandson James (Kayla). Fred will be remembered as a loving dad and grandpa, a loyal friend, a fixer of everything, an avid boater and fisherman, a gardening enthusiast, a devout Catholic, a lover of all holidays, especially Christmas, and the life of every party. His wit, heart and free spirit will be missed by all those who know him.

Michael J. Grant Funeral Homes of Brentwood, N.Y., is honored to be entrusted with the funeral services of, Frederick W. Windsor. Visitation services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025. Visiting times will begin in the afternoon from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Please join the family Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. for final farewells at the funeral home. A procession to St. Anne's RC Church for a 9:45 a.m. Funeral Mass.
