Fredrick Glunz Obituary
Fredrick Joseph Glunz Sr., age 58, of Buffalo passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on October 10, 1965 in Buffalo the son of Jerome H. & Kathleen (Zinken) Glunz.
Fred graduated from Buffalo High School in 1984.
He was employed for many years at U-Haul.
Fred enjoyed cooking, smoking meat, fishing, bowling and family gatherings. He formerly was on The Buffalo Rodeo Committee. Fred was a very social and soft- hearted person. He was not afraid to lend a helping hand to anyone.
Survived by his children: Fred Glunz Jr. of Maple Grove, Mia (Brian) Lardner of Plato, Christopher Glunz and special friend Kaelee and Mariah Glunz and special friend Kaden all of Loretto; grandsons: Leland, Weston and Colt; siblings: Bonnie (Hal) Berger, Margie Peterson, Sandy (Chuck) Davidson, Bobby (Barb) Glunz, Jim (Cindy) Glunz, John (Kim) Glunz and Dana (Rick) Meyer; a brother-in-law: Al Huikko; many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his infant daughter Brianna, his parents, infant sister Monica Glunz, a sister Debbie Huikko, a brother Jerry Glunz and by a brother-in-law Ed Peterson.
A Memorial Service for Fred Glunz Sr. will be held on Friday, October 25th at 1:00 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo.
Visitation will be held on Friday morning, October 25th beginning at 10:00 A.M.
