Fredrick Edwin Widder, a Marine Vietnam veteran, died unexpectedly on March 17, 2023. He was 77 years old.
Mr. Widder was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado where he lived with his wife, Aysala Ellen Littlefiled-Widder.
He was born in West Virginia, Virginia on April 24, 1945.
He was a helicopter gunner in combat in Vietnam, and later worked for Boeing as a Sheetmetal worker.
He will be remembered for his kindness and great sense of humor. He will be missed by his friends, family, and his two dogs Mikey and Rocky. They gave him such joy and by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Aysala; son, Joshua Widder; daughter, Stephanie Bulman; ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, sister, and several nieces and nephews.
