Fredricka Karen "Fritzy" Nipp

Fredricka "Fritzy" Karen Nipp, 82, of Bemidji, MN passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026 in Bemidji.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, January 19, 2026 at New Salem Lutheran Church in Turtle River, MN with Pastor Terry Hagensen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
She was born January 10, 1943 in Grand Rapids, MN, the daughter of Helene (Lakin) and Arthur Johnson. She was known by her friends as "Fritzy". She was an only child. Fritzy spent her childhood in Conrad, Montana from the age of 5. During this time, she and her parents trekked the entire state. Fritzy graduated from Conrad High School. She married Carl Nipp September 9, 1961. From their union they had 2 sons, Michael and Douglas Nipp. They later divorced.
Fritzy owned and operated Nipp Floral Shop which was originally in Nebish and later Turtle River. For over 16 years, Tom and Fritzy explored Texas and Arizona as snowbirds before landing on Lake Havasu, AZ where they enjoyed the many winters before Fritzy's care necessitated a move into skilled nursing care in Bemidji.
Fritzy is survived by her devoted partner, Tom Berdahl, sons, Michael and Doug Nipp, daughter-in-law, Leah Nipp, 4 grandchildren, Krista (Garrett), Erika and Alyssa, and Alex, and 3 great grandchildren.
Fritzy loved God and we rejoice that she is now with her heavenly Father.
