Judy Nipp Obituary
Geraldine "Judy" Davis Nipp was born May 16, 1940 in Smith County. She had been a resident of Van most of her life. She retired from Van High School, after working many years as an auxiliary employee.
Judy passed away at the age of 85 on November 29, 2025, at her home in Van. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.D. Nipp (2010); daughter, Marcella Nipp Paddie (2012); parents, Hubert Davis and Bessie Phelps Davis; brothers, Shorty Davis and A.D. Davis; sisters, Billie Davis and Mary Jo Foyil; and great-grandson, Dakota Cooper.
Survivors include her sons, Howard Nipp of Leslie, AR and Samuel Nipp of Van, TX; daughters, Carla Allison and Rhonda Shiley, both of Van, TX; six grandchildren, Steven Cooper, Amy Lane, Jason Nipp, Miranda Cooper, Jaymie Nipp, and Justin Allison; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
