Freeda Ann Davis, age 76, of Cleveland, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord and Savior December 31, 2025. Freeda was a graduate of Charleston High School, Cleveland State Community College, Middle Tennessee State University, and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Freeda was awarded a Masters of Religious Education with a focus in elementary education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. During her career, she served as Minister of Preschool in multiple churches in Tennessee. Her love of children was reflected in her Christian service as she not only served on church staffs but also taught in many training conferences throughout Tennessee. Her desire to teach young children about Jesus and love those children in the name of Jesus was evident to all who were close to Freeda.
Freeda was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church and served as an office volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Cleveland Tennessee. Her multitude of friends fondly remember so many acts of kindness and love that she has shared with them over decades of her life.
Freeda was preceded in death by her parents, J.D. Davis and Pearl Adams Davis, her sister, Ida Mae Botts, her brothers, Clyde A. Davis, Taylor F. Davis, and Milburn Davis, and her nephew, David Botts.
She is survived by her nephews, Kenny Botts (Melissa), Alvin Davis (Penny), her nieces, Marilyn Long (Jack), Cheryl Edwards (Terry), Kaye Botts, and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for friends and family will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Monday, January 5, 2026, at Poole Funeral Home of Cleveland. Visitation at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 will precede the funeral at 12:00 noon at Poole Funeral Home, 3000 Ralph Buckner Boulevard, Cleveland, Tennessee. Burial will follow at Hilcrest Cemetery.
