Freida J. Moore

Freida J. Moore, age 68, entered her eternal rest in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Though her time on this earth has ended, the love she poured into others and the light she carried will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Freida was blessed with a beautiful smile and a caring heart that touched everyone around her. She had a gift for bringing joy to others, whether it was through her thoughtful crafts, her love of fishing, or her gentle way of making people laugh and feel special.

She leaves behind her beloved partner and soulmate, Roy Moore, who shared her journey of love and life. Freida was a devoted mother to her son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Callie Gollihue, and to her daughter and partner, Tammy Gollihue and Brian Newman. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Logan Brammer (fiancée Holly Eastwood) and Dakota Jones, and a doting great-grandmother to little Winnie Eastwood, who brought her immense joy.

Freida is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Debbie Hall, and Tim and Debi Hall; her stepsister, Bobbi James; her nephew, Shannon Hall; her nieces, Karissa Saunders and Amanda Hall; and her four great-nephews, Jaxon, Lucas, Zavier, and Owen.

To her family and friends, Freida was more than a loved one, she was an encourager, a giver, and a source of unconditional love. She will be remembered not only for her laughter and kindness but for the faith she carried that guided her life.

As we mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing that Freida is now healed, whole, and at peace in her heavenly home. Her legacy of love, faith, and compassion will forever inspire those who were blessed to know her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Wiler, officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carter County Memory Gardens.
