Freida Moses Obituary
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas "Toad" Moses; brother, Herbert "H.C." Charles Lankford, Jr.
Freida loved her Lord and Savior and was a very active lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church, Bessemer City. She loved her church and serving her family and friends in the community. After 24 years of service, she retired from Firestone. She enjoyed playing with her nieces and nephews, and fishing and gardening in her free time. Left to cherish her memories are her sisters, Sara Carpenter, and Mary Lankford; brothers, Fred Lankford, Sr. (Vesta), and Bill Lankford; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 27, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, Bessemer City.
Freida's funeral service will be held 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, Bessemer City, with Rev. Kitty Rankin Tompkins officiating.
Interment will follow at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery.
