Freida Wilson Obituary
Frieda Wilson, 68, of Reidsville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 8, 2024 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Surrett officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Frieda was a twin child born to the late James “Jimmy” Wilbert Wilson and Beatrice “Beatty” Mae Wilson in Guilford County. Her family affectionally called her “Fruity Frieda” as she was a very free spirit, loving, caring and extremely funny. She had a real passion for hummingbirds and looked forward to their return each year.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Wilson (Tony); grandchildren, Shane and Gavin Oakes and Mia Wilson; great-granddaughter, Analia Oakes; brothers, Ricky and Ronnie Wilson; sisters, Debbie Whaley (Rick), Anita Wilson, Rita Cook, and Shelia Wicker (Robert).
