It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Freya Paige Holcomb, who left this world far too soon at the tender age of two. Freya, the cherished daughter of Chance Holcomb and Vanessa Blankenship, brought joy and light to all who knew her.
Freya was a vibrant spirit, full of laughter and curiosity. She loved singing, dancing, swimming, watching her Ipad and above all else playing with her sister Ana. Freya had an infectious smile that could brighten even the darkest days. Though her time with us was too brief, she touched the lives of many and created lasting memories that we will hold forever in our hearts.
She is survived by a large and loving family, including her sister Anastasia Lin Holcomb; grandparents Lisa Cutlip "Gaga" and Justin Cutlip "Pop", Christy Holcomb "Nanny" and Ed Holcomb Jr. "Pappy"; step-parents Alan Gibson "Ba" and Emily Kittle "Memma"; great grandparents Roy and Janet Garvin, Ed, Sr. and Judy Holcomb and Rev. Ronald and Sue Robe; Uncle Kyle Blankenship "Uncle Kyky", Aunts Ally Blankenship, Cayla "Aunt Cake" and Bella Spiker, Sierra Holcomb, Jessie Holdren and first cousins who are like brothers Tripp and Jude Dilley as well as Hayden and MaKayla Hines, along with many additional family members and friends. Each of them carries the weight of their loss while cherishing the moments they shared with Freya.
Services will be held at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street, on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 10:00 until the time of the service at 11:00 am. Reverend Ronald Robe will be officiating. Family and friends can come together to honor her memory.
Though Freya's time on this earth was fleeting, her spirit will remain with us always. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
