Frieda Minchella Obituary
On Friday, June 10, 2022, Frieda Schumann Minchella peacefully passed. She is predeceased by her parents, William and Ernestine Schumann (Potz), husband, John R. Minchella, son-in-law, James L. Miller and pet children and grandchildren. Frieda is survived by her children David (Roger Fiestel), Cheryl (John Signorino), Frederick; grandchildren Abby, Will and several pet grandchildren.
Frieda was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She lived her life fully and simply and was forever "young at heart". Even at age 96, when asked her age she would reply "I'm 39." She enjoyed reading, taking her daily walks at The Northfield to the "tunes of Frank Sinatra", and especially enjoyed sending letters and cards to her many wonderful friends.
Frieda will be missed by many. A special thanks to the staff at The Northfield Assisted Living for making her feel welcomed and loved and to Aaron Manor staff for making Frieda's final days comfortable and peaceful.
Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lollipop Farm, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester in her memory.
