SMITH, Alfreda "Frieda". January 20, 2023. Age 83. Beloved wife of John "Jack" for 63 years. Loving mother of Eileen Erker (Gerald), Joan Smith, Susan Tisch, and Sharon Wennerstrom (Karl). Proud and loving grandmother of Thomas, Jonathan (Kayla), Matthew, Steven, Elizabeth, David, Alison, Jacob, Sarah, Katherine, Elise, Ryan, and Joseph and great-grandmother of Mae Ivy. Dear sister of Ronald Sobczak and Janet Empey. Frieda enjoyed gardening, sewing, and baking but especially loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. Instate Thursday 9am until time of 9:30am Mass at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd. (E. of Dodge Park), Sterling Heights. Private interment, Square Lake Cemetery, Lake Orion.
