It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Anthony Bonner. Anthony was born on November 25, 2000, in Columbus, GA. He graduated from Columbus High School in 2019 and Columbus State University in 2023.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services for visitation at the funeral home.
Anthony was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Brandi Jones and his beloved dog Lucy. He also leaves behind his Granny, Paulette Sanders, aunts Peggy Hall (Keith) and Deb McLoughlin (Jay) and cousins Josh and Jonathan Hall and Shelby and Matthew McLoughlin - as well as countless friends whose lives he touched deeply. An avid athlete himself, Anthony was passionate about the Oregon Ducks, the Minnesota Vikings and the LA Lakers. Anthony’s love for his teams was contagious. Anthony was also a lifelong lover of all music. He found solace and inspiration in music, whether writing music, attending concerts or enjoying his favorite album at home and could often be found sharing his passion with family and friends.
Though his time with us was much too short, Anthony’s vibrant energy, infectious smile and genuine heart will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
