He is survived by his wife Maria Isabel, his sister Manuela Garcia, sons Frank Castillo (Debra), Gabriel Castillo Jr. (Annabelle), Sergio Castillo (Terri), and daughters Estella Alvarado (Juan), Elida Bosmans (Frank), Elvira Garza (George) and Emily Castillo-Martinez. He has 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired from CPS Energy in 1990 with 27 years of service. He was a hardworking, kind man and was always willing to help others. He enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to music. He will be greatly missed.
