Gabriel Francis "Gabe" Dawson

Gabriel Francis "Gabe" Dawson, age 17, of Martinsville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday February 28, 2026 at Dayton Children's Hospital in Dayton, OH.

He was born December 19, 2008 in Wilmington, OH, son of Gregory D. Dawson and Sheila Ruth (Pinkerton) Dawson.

Gabe was a student at Wilmington High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching wrestling and playing video games.

Surviving are his parents, Greg and Sheila Dawson, 3 brothers, Daniel Dawson, Robert Dawson, Cyrus Dawson and a sister, Tiffany Dawson. Also surviving is his grandfather, William "Bill" Dawson, grandmother, Linda Pinkerton, Great-Grandmother, Carol Dawson, aunt & uncles, Charles & Jessica Pinkerton, Jacob Pinkerton, David Dawson and several cousins.

Gabriel was preceded in death by a grandmother, Mary Dawson, grandfather, Donald Lee Pinkerton and his cousin, Cameron Lee Boatman.

Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington, Friday, March 6, 2026 at 1:00 pm with Mike Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Martinsville, Ohio.

Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home on Friday March 6, 2026 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
