Gabriel Aleczander Donaldson-vanderGaag

We are sad to announce the death of Gabriel Aleczander Donaldson-vanderGaag who was born on October 2nd, 1997, to Sara vanderGaag in Vallejo California at 11:56 pm. Gabriel's passing was unexpected and ended on the 9th of May 2024 the cause of death is unknown.
Gabriel was such a beautiful human. From the time he was old enough to walk till the time he passed away, he was always here to comfort those he had close to his heart as well as the less fortunate in life. He believed in justice and fought hard for what he believed in. He had a love for travel and spent many years visiting the States and all the beauty they had to offer. Gabriel enjoyed all sports, the Warriors, Raiders and the Giants were the teams he loved to watch most. He also had a passion for playing sports. He played baseball, basketball, and football throughout his youth into high school. Gabriel was so smart and was a jack of all trades, he enjoyed helping people with the stock market and giving advice, he also loved to gamble and was very good at it, he was a free spirit and had a love for music and art as well as having a passion for writing. He enjoyed taking care of others and lending a hand when needed. Later in his life, he was able to be by his grandfather's side to take care of him when he received his ALS diagnosis. Gabriel stayed by his side until the day he went to heaven, this was just one act of kindness to show how loving his heart really was. Gabriel loved his sisters and brother very much. He was always calling to check up on them and was a great big brother to the 4 of them. Gabriel never had the chance to get married or have children, he leaves behind two dogs Roxy and Draco his pet babies.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his grandpa and grandma Jimmy and Patty Potts and his Aunt Anissa Johnson. He is survived by His mother Sara vanderGaag, His grandmother Shelly Vandergaag, Gabriel's three sisters, Angelena, Sophia, and Gemma, and his baby brother Phoenix. Gabriel leaves behind his nephew Kingston, his uncle and aunt Craig and Erika vanderGaag as well as his cousins Craig Jr and Kaiden vanderGaag, Steven Brogan and Micheal Brogan his two uncles along with his grandfathers Steve Brogan and Mike vanderGaag.
A celebration of life will be Held at the Fairfield Community Center on the 15th of June from 1:30 pm to 5 pm at 1000 Kentucky Ave in Fairfield California. Gabriel, we will always carry your memory close to our hearts.
