It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gabriel Anton Estrada, a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. Born on June 30, 1977, in Abilene, TX, Gabriel peacefully departed from this world on August 22, 2024, in Fort Worth, TX, at the age of 47.
Gabriel was a family man, who adored his wife and children. He embodied the perfect example of a husband and father. His children were his pride and joy. He never missed an opportunity to support them and brag on all their accomplishments. He enjoyed many movie/popcorn nights with his family and ensured they knew all the classics such as Star Wars, Goonies, Weird Science, and many others. He had a love for music that he also enjoyed sharing with his children. Gabriel loved getting together with family and grilling, especially during football season when the Cowboys would play. He was the coolest Uncle G and Nino to all his nieces, nephews, and godchildren.Gabriel spent the last 20 years working in the mortgage industry where he took on several roles, however his most rewarding role was a Trainer. Gabriel was a natural born teacher. He was known as a selfless leader, always looking out for other people, and helping them succeed. Many would say “he had a light in him that made you love him as soon as you met him.” Gabriel leaves behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Gabriel was a friend to all and never met a stranger. He was the definition of a true friend, always loyal and caring and most importantly, genuine. His warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, and his memory will forever be cherished.
He is survived by his loving spouse Veronica Estrada, precious children Gabriel, Emma, Noah, Arisela and Jacob Estrada, along with his parents Antonio and Leticia Estrada, brothers Andy Estrada and his wife Michelle, Adriel Estrada and his wife Daisy, sister-in-law Liz Martinez, and brother-in-law Mario Casas and his wife Janie and 12 nieces and nephews. Gabriel is preceded in death by his grandparents Pete and Eva Estrada and Dr. Fidel and Lupe Perez. In celebration of Gabriel's life, a Mass will be held at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church on August 28, 2024, at 10:30 am. Prior to the service, a Rosary will be recited at Lucas Funeral Home - Chapel on August 27, 2024, at 7:00 pm, with visitation hours starting at 6:00 pm.
Gabriel will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts. May we find solace in the cherished moments we shared with him and honor his spirit by spreading love and kindness as he did. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Estrada family during this time of mourning. May Gabriel rest in peace.
