Funeral Time: Saturday, September 23rd at 11:30AM
Gabriel Jay Franco, born on August 15, 2023, passed peacefully into heavenly rest on September 17, 2023. Even though Gabriel's life was short he brought great joy and people closer to God. He was a strong and courageous soul living his life to bring honor to God. First Thessalonians 4:13-14 says, "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him." Left to cherish Gabriel's memory are his parents, Ivan and Jaylynn Franco; big brother, Ivan Alfredo Franco Jr.; grandparents, Florencio Franco, Rosalina Franco Cortes, Jay Weaver, and Stephanie Weaver; aunts and uncles, Jarrod Weaver, Jessica Maulucci (David), Joy Weaver, Jazmin Brown (Lee), Zuri Franco, Emanuel Franco, and Adonai Franco; cousin, Rose Brown; great-grandparents, Sofia Ruiz, Epifania Lopez, Alfredo Franco, and Martha Childers; and great-aunts, Michelle Jones, Cheryl Glaze, Wendy Solomon, Julie Shockley, and Cindy Fletcher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Clays Mill Baptist Church, 1220 Brannon Road, Nicholasville, Kentucky, with Pastor Jeff Fugate officiating. Visitation will be the same day at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. Interment will follow at The Lexington Cemetery. Gabriel's grandparents will serve as pallbearers. Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky is in care of all arrangements for Gabriel Jay Franco.
