Gabriel Paul Le Pera, age 62-just three days shy of his birthday on August 7-unexpectedly passed away too soon on Monday, August 4, 2025.

Gabe devoted his life to his surviving immediate family: his brother, Paul Max Le Pera; his sister, Luisa Le Pera-Fox; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Alessandra (Gabe's God daughter), Paul, Victoria, and Sebastian. He cared deeply for his parents, Elena and Tony Le Pera, who both deceased in 2018, offering unwavering support, love, and dedication to them throughout their lives.

Since 2008, Gabe built a fulfilling and profound career at Compass Diversified, where his passion for his work was well known. His colleagues valued his judgment and admired him not only as a professional but also as a loyal and trusted friend.

Gabe was a committed supporter of Covenant House and the American Red Cross, giving generously to causes that mattered to him. In keeping with his wishes, those who wish to honor his memory are encouraged to contribute to these organizations in any way they are able. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House or the American Red Cross.

Gabe was a deeply kind, generous and compassionate soul. He was and will forever remain, an Angel to many.

The Le Pera family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 10:00 AM at St. Paul's RC Church, 200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey, NJ.
