Gabriel Mauricio

Gabriel Mauricio, 24, of Greeley, received his angel wings and was called home to be with the Lord on September 19, 2024 in Greeley, Colorado. He was born to Ignacio and Maria (Perez) Mauricio on May 16, 2000 in Greeley, Colorado.
Gabriel attended Northridge High School, where he made lots of longtime friendships. He had an amazing work ethics and started working as soon as he was able to.
When he was not working, he loved spending time with family and friends.
He enjoyed making sure that he was always very well kept and clean, loved working hard and playing harder. He lit up a room with is beautiful and contagious smile, no one could have a bad day when they were around him. He enjoyed listening to music and eating everything his mom and dad made, he loved their cooking, he will be deeply missed by all that knew him and loved him.
Gabriel is survived by his parents; siblings, Angel Ortiz (Mariana Felix), Cris (Christie) Ortiz, Roxanne Montenegro, and Yolanda Mauricio; nieces/nephews, Mari Alejandra Ortiz, Zayemiah Ortiz, Baby Angel Ortiz, and Marisol Ortiz; grandmother, Adelaida Mauricio; favorite Aunt Vicky Aguirre special bond with his cousins that he referred to as brother and sister (Mauricio and Belia) and a very large extended family and friends. We can't forget that he loved his dog Dyno, (that was his pet baby)
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gilbert and Carmen Aguirre, and Daniel Mauricio.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 pm, followed by recitation of the rosary, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W 16th Street in Greeley. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am, Friday, September 27th at Our Lady of Peace in Greeley. Graveside service will follow mass at Evans Cemetery.
