Miguel Santiago Velasquez, 22, of Loveland, passed away on July 31, 2024 in Loveland, Colorado. He was born to Tomi (Sepeda) Garcia and Miguel Velasquez on July 4, 2002 in Greeley, Colorado.
Miguel attended Northridge High School. After high school, Miguel joined the workforce and worked at JBS, where he was a supervisor.
He enjoyed the outdoors and going on trail walks and listening to music. Music was a huge part of his life and even managed to get studio time for his own lyrics. When he was not behind the microphone, he enjoyed being home playing video games with his brother and friends. Above all, he loved and adored his family, especially his kids. He will be missed by all that knew him and loved him.
Miguel is survived by his children, Miguel Velasquez and Isaiah Velasquez; his parents, Miguel Velasquez and Tomi Garcia; siblings, Victoria Velasquez, Josh Garcia, and Ariah Gracia; grandparents, Sherry Munoz, Rosendo Sepeda, Maria Velasquez, and Victoriano Fuentes Bonilla and a large extended family and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contribution can be made in Miguel Velasquez's name to Lighthouse Family Mortuary, 2525 W 16tyh Street #C in Greeley, Colorado to assist with funeral expenses. Visitation will be held 5-7pm, Friday, August 9, 2024 at First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W 16th Street in Greeley. Funeral service will be held at 10 am, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Mosaic Church, 3451 23rd Avenue in Evans, Colorado. Graveside service will follow service at Evans Cemetery.
