Gabe graduated from Indiana University in 1957 with a BA in Anatomy & Physiology and continued on to attend IU School of Medicine and receive his MD Degree. After completing his one-year rotating internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL, he came back to Indianapolis where he completed his Pediatric Residency and began his own, successful private practice.

Beginning in 1979 he was president of the National Federation of Medical/Legal Networks, Inc. where he functioned as a medical consultant/ expert in pediatric malpractice litigation cases. He was also Medical Director of the Indianapolis Day Nursery and Medical Director of Kokomo Academy. In the early 2000’s he began work with Option Care and was the Primary Physician at an ambulatory infusion center. In 2008 he moved to Total Performance Medical Center where he worked the remainder of his career, retiring in 2019.

After a wonderful marriage to his bride Francine Zelma Levinson of over 50 years, Gabe is survived by his beloved children, Natalie (Pat) Reams, Terry (Pascal) Decaudin, and Andrew (Debbie) Rosenberg; 8 grandchildren, Lesley (Josh) Cook, Sarah Reams, Ally and Jason Rosenberg, Alexander, Erin-Rose, Claire and Dashal Decaudin; 2 great grandchildren Colin and Rachel.
