Mr. Gabriel John Welch was born on April 29,1950 in Pass Christian Mississippi, to the parents of Julie Anne Tennette and Johnny Welch. He went home on March 21, 2025, in his home surrounded by loved ones in Farmington, New Mexico. He was 74 years old. At 19 years of age he was drafted into the United States Army. In which he served 4 years honorably stationed in Stuttgart; Germany. He served during the Vietnam era and was a Vietnam Veteran.
Gabriel Welch married Mary Newton on November 11, 1973. In Farmington New Mexico and has been successfully married for 56 beautiful years. He lives on through his wife Mary Welch; two daughters Monique Welch-Holcomb, and Myeisha Jobe, his son-in-law Roy Jobe, granddaughters Mackenzie Combe, Madison Tarrant, Maliyah Jobe, and grand son-in-law Todd Combe.
Gabriel is a retired oil field technician; after working diligently for 30 years in this field. He was a man who loved watching sports of all kinds. Gabriel was a dedicated family man; he was adorned by all who met him and will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00AM to 11:00AM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St, Farmington, NM 8740, followed by Military Honors performing. An inurnment will be held at a later date at Memory Gardens of Farmington.

Nina Tenette

Oh this is a sad surprise. I stumbled across this sad news today 5-22-25.
My siblings and I lived with all of the Welch boys when we were very little kids in Palo Alto California.
I like to keep people informed in the family and I am Nina Tenette, 1st cousin to the Welch sons.
The Welch sons are from my aunt, Julie Ann Welch.
She is my father's younger sister. I wonder how she is doing.
We are the Tenette family, originally living in Palo Alto Nina Angela. Melody Terence and Anthony.
