Gabriella Sophia "Yaya" Calleros

Gabriella Sophia Calleros, affectionately known as Yaya, passed away on April 24, 2024 in her hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the tender age of 19.
Gabriella was a light in the lives of all that knew her, bringing joy, love, and laughter into their lives. She was a private and quiet person but also very witty and fun. Her kind heart and radiant smile were her trademarks, earning her the love of all who knew her. Her generous and giving spirit was a testament to her selfless nature. Gabriella was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile was so stunning it would light up the whole room. She cared so deeply for the people around her and she made an impact on many lives.
In her younger years, she enjoyed cheer, painting, reading, and excelled in playing the piano, which she loved. She was very smart and did exceedingly well in school, earning herself many awards. She was also a self-taught artist with an incredible ability for drawing portraits. With her huge love of her beloved brother's music, Gabriella too had a natural talent in making music. She was a remarkable person.
Gabriella was preceded by and greeted in Heaven by her older brother, Santiago Calleros III, who died on July 06, 2022; and older sister, Marisela Calleros, who died on November 15, 2023.
She is survived by her mother, Maciel Ott; her father, Santiago Calleros; two sisters, Isabella Calleros and Chamaine Parr; niece Araselli Calleros; nephew, Moses Calleros; and feline companion, Leafy, whom she adored and cherished along with her niece and nephew. Ara and Moses were the light of her world.
Her departure comes as a great shock and deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her. She will be forever missed. Until we meet again, Yaya. We love you always and forever.
