GABRIELLE HOPE GABBIE KILLIMADE
Gabrielle Hope Killimade, 46, of Satsuma, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022, at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital in Palatka from recurring health issues.
Gabrielle (Gabbie) was born in Saginaw, MI and moved to Florida when she was 16. When she was 18, Gabbie returned to Michigan to obtain her Associate's Degree at Michigan State University. Shemoved back to Florida after completing her education where she settled in Jacksonville. Gabbie moved to the Palatka area and finally Satsuma 15 years ago and has lived in Satsuma for the last three years.
Gabbie and her husband were avid RVers and enjoyed going away to various locations on weekends, as well as, loading bikes onto their car and driving to Saint Augustine to ride bikes around town. She loved to play games on her phone and shared all achievements she accomplished on those games. She was active in the lives of her two sons, and in the life of her grandson, Jace Riley.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Jenelle Menge.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, James Killimade of Satsuma; two sons, Logan Riley of Jacksonville and Austin Hostetler of Middleburg; two sisters, Andrea Beecher of Gladwin, MI and Alicia Parson of Orange Park; a brother, Joel DuFresne of Detroit, MI; and a grandson, Jace Carter Adam Riley of Jacksonville. She is also survived by her parents, Floyd DuFresne of Detroit, MI and Carolyn Harris of Middleburg.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Maurice Sterling officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Palatka Memorial Gardens.
