Gadigeshkumar Hurli Obituary

He has been employed with Cummins Engine Company as an engineer in cyber security for the past 15 years. He loved to hike, bike and garden. He enjoyed the outdoors and anything with electronics.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
"Hurli" is survived by his wife, Swarooparani; daughters, Shreya and Nitya, and several relatives in India.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Chandrashekar and Kirtivati Devi Hurli.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

I had known Hurli ever since I moved to Columbus in 2004. He was a great colleague to work with, kind hearted and was so deeply involved in many community activities. He will be missed immensely. My last fond memory of him was at his younger daughter's the piano recital a few weeks ago. He always had a smile on his pleasant face whenever we met or crossed each other at work.

Dear Swaroopa, Shreya and Nitya,
At a moment like this, there aren't enough words to offer you solace. Hurli was an incredible soul, wise and calm. He wasn't the loudest entrant into a room, but he was always the best listener. He wasn't an extrovert, but he knew everyone and each person knew him. Hurli's quiet strength will be missed greatly. We hope time helps you heal and move forward with the wonderful memories Hurli helped build. He will always be there to watch over you.

Sorry to see you go my friend. Our heartfelt condolences and prayers for Swaroopa and the kids. I will always remember Hurli as we worked and travelled together. We drove from Columbus to Key-West and that was very memorable we will never forget. May god rest his soul in peace.
