Gaetano Todaro, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. Born on March 1, 1958, in Brooklyn, NY, Gaetano lived a life rich in family values and cherished memories.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Rosemarie (nee: Ieraci), whose partnership with him was a shining example of unwavering love and support. Together, they created a warm and nurturing home for their family. Gaetano was a proud father to Joseph, who, along with his wife Gleice, continues to carry on his father's values and teachings.
Gaetano's spirit will forever shine through his granddaughters, Jordana and Eva, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. He delighted in their achievements and was always there to cheer them on, embodying the role of a loving grandfather with grace and pride.
He is survived by his brother, John, and John's wife, Josephine, and niece Angelina, as well as his brother Nicola and his wife Lorraine, and his sister Vita. Together, they celebrate their bond and the memories created over the years, finding solace in one another during this difficult time.
Predeceased by his son, Anthony, Gaetano's heart held a special place for him, and his memory now serves as an enduring connection within the family. The love Gaetano shared with Anthony remains a guiding light for all who knew him.
As friends and family gather to honor Gaetano's life, visitation services will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home on March 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again later that evening from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A mass will take place at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church on March 12, 2025, at 10:15 AM, followed by his Entombment at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY, at 11:45 AM.
Gaetano Todaro's legacy of love, laughter, and strength will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him. His gentle spirit, compassionate nature, and unwavering dedication to family will be missed deeply, but his memory will live on in the stories shared and the lives he touched.
