Gail Linda Bailey, 76, of Finksburg, MD passed away on December 9, 2025 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born February 18, 1949 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha (Hampton) Perkins. Wife of the late William Robert Bailey. Companion of 42 years to the late Milton "Mickey" Cook.
Gail was a graduate of Milford Mill High School in 1967. She was a beautician and cosmetologist before becoming the Director of YWCA Greater Baltimore Area- Childcare. She enjoyed line dancing, square dancing, ballroom dancing, collected dolls and enjoyed working with ceramics, and making greeting cards.
Surviving are her step-children, Lory Myer (Bill), Dawn Brashears (Mike), Scott Cook (Sandy); grandchildren, Bradley Brashears, Brooke Lehigh, Scott Myer, Joshua Brashears; great-grandchildren, Vincent Visocsky, Briella Lehigh, Bryson Lehigh, Braxton Lehigh, Willow Brashears; neice, Karen Roberts (Scott); great-nephews, Bailey Neveker, Brodey Neveker, and Brevin Neveker; cousins, Joan "Arlene" Scott and Denise Lowe (George). Also survived by other loving family and friends.
Gail is preceded in death by her daughter, Traci L. Bailey Harbeson, grandson, Zachary Harbeson, brother, Arthur Gary Perkins and her beloved golden retriever, Chessie.
Family will receive friends Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 11:00am - 12:00pm at the Eline Funeral Home 2901 Bloom Road, Finksburg, MD 21048. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
