Gail Marie Capton, 68, passed away with her brothers by her side on Friday, November 3, 2023. She was a resident of Clinton, MS and lived most of her life in Jackson, MS. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, as well as a friend to everyone she met. She was always up for a good practical joke.
Gail was born in Lafayette, LA to the late Wilmer Cameron and Ollie Lee Brown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Tiffany Quinn and one granddaughter, Makayla Quinn. Survivors left to cherish her memory are: two brothers, Glen Brown and wife Diane of West Point, MS and twin Dale Brown and his wife Dymple of Brookhaven, MS. In addition, she will be missed by her nieces, Alison Reed (Jason), Lauren Jenkins (Chris) and nephew, Brad Brown. Great nieces, Anna Grace and Kara Reed. Great nephews, Carson and Jack Carter Taylor and Caleb Brown.
Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram from 12-1 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Interment will follow visitation at 2 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park.
