Gail Anne Cook (Bedard) of Silverwood, age 76, passed away peacefully in Deckerville, Michigan, surrounded by love. Born in Windsor, Ontario, on October 8, 1949, Gail built a life filled with compassion, laughter, and an enduring love for animals.
Gail shared a crazy, beautiful life on her Kingston farm with her husband, Robert Cook, where she found joy in caring for her many beloved dogs, cats, and horses, along with her family. Riding her horses with friends brought her tremendous happiness and peace.
A dedicated social worker for the State of Michigan, Gail spent her career helping others with empathy and understanding. She was known for her wit, her warmth, and her ability to find humor and light in everyday moments.
Gail is survived by her children, Michelle Gonzalez (Ray) and John Caron; her grandchildren, Terra, Michael, and Ryan Gonzalez; and her great-grandchild, Trinity Gonzalez. She is also survived by her husband’s beautiful children, Keri Terbush (Joe) and Kirt Cook; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gruber (Chad), Tyler and Tanner Terbush, and Madilynn Cook; and great-grandchild, JT Terbush. Her love, laughter, and kindness will live on in each of them.
Gail will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of animals, and her spirited personality that touched everyone she met.
A Celebration of Gail's Life will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Beagio's in Kingston from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., the family invites everyone to come and share there memories of Gail and honor her life.
