Gail D'Albora Obituary Gail Rudnitsky - D'Albora of Brooklyn passed away on September 3rd, 2025 in Staten Island. Gail was born January 22nd, 1936 in Unadilla, New York. She was the youngest child of six to Adam and Hilmar Rudnitsky. She graduated from Unadilla High School in 1953, where she was on the Varsity Cheerleading Team. After graduating high school, she attended nursing school in Albany NY. She eventually moved to New York City and worked at Victory Memorial Hospital for many years. She married Vincent D'Albora, with whom she had 3 children. Gail loved animals of all kinds and talked fondly of her Clydesdale horses she had as a child, Dick and Nell. She had many dogs and cats throughout her life. Gail is preceded in death by her parents Adam and Hilmar, her siblings Bud, Ed, Iris, Anita, and Stuart. She is also preceded in death by Vincent D'Albora and her son, James D'Albora. Gail is survived by her children Lynn Dowd and Bart D'Albora, and her 12 grandchildren: Vincent, Thomas, Anthony & James D'Albora. Katelyn, James, Jack, Patrick & Daniel Dowd. Christopher, Amy D'Albora, & Danielle Weidmyer And 2 great grandchildren: Aspen & Hadley Weidmyer Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM on September 9, 2025 at Oceanview Cemetery 3315 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306.
