Gail Mary (Fitzpatrick) Lyons died peacefully at home on Friday, August 26, 2022. Gail was born in Queens, New York in 1947. She was the daughter of the late Francis and Loretta Fitzpatrick. Gail shared 51 years of her life as the devoted wife to the late James R. Lyons. Together they raised two children. Gail's 30-year real estate career was spent in Northern NJ. Her generosity was well known. Often opening her home to anyone in need of a place to stay, Gail would entertain them with her two best traits, warmth and sarcasm. She took great pride in her home and had a love of gardening which was obvious to anyone fortunate enough to visit.
Survivors include her sister Judith Calhoun, son Raymond, daughter Jessica and granddaughter Jillian. Gail also had numerous nieces, nephews and friends who loved and cherished her.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel, 11528 Hwy 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet, SC.
