Gail P. Gillan-Giles, of Weymouth, passed away on December 8th, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Quincy on May 13th, 1964, she was raised in Weymouth and was the beloved daughter of the late Philip and Patricia (MacDonald) Gillan.
Gail was a warm, kind-hearted woman who cherished the time she spent with family and friends. She especially loved taking trips with her husband Michael, often escaping to New Hampshire and Vermont where they enjoyed the quiet, the scenery, and simply being together. Above all, Gail was a proud and devoted mother who deeply loved her son Philip.
Gail is survived by her loving husband Michael Giles, her son Philip Hannaford, her sisters Darlene Gillan, Cheryl Coveney and her spouse John, and Linda West and her husband Bob, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Gregory Richardson, and by her parents Philip and Patricia Gillan (MacDonald).
Gail will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be private in accordance with the wishes of Gail and her family.
