Mrs. Gail Graham, age 75, a lifelong Millington resident passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Vassar Comfort Care.
Gail was born on March 18, 1949, in Flint, Michigan to parents Lyman & Jean (née Pike) Wright. She was raised alongside her siblings, grew up in Millington, and graduated from Millington High School with the Class of 1967. In the sixth grade, Gail met Terry Graham. The school sweethearts became a lifelong love and the two were wed on November 11, 1967. Together they had four children, shared countless memories, and celebrated over 55 years of marriage before Terry’s passing in October of 2023. Before retirement, Gail worked at the Frankenmuth Woolen Mill and owned and operated Curves in Millington. Further, Gail enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling around the U.S., and watching the birds visit her feeders. Above all Gail loved her family and was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren. She never missed her children’s or grandchildren’s activities or sporting events. She will be deeply missed.
Gail is survived by her children: Terry Jr. (Kim) Graham, Jeff (Kelly) Graham, Candi (Jim) Fehrman, and Wendy (Jim) McMillan; grandchildren: Ethan Fehrman, Owen Fehrman, Madelyn McMillan, Jimmy McMillan, Nate McMillan, Alexander Hoyte, and Andrew Hoyte; sister, Marcia Sauvie; brother, Lynn Wright; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry; parents, Lyman & Jean; sisters, Rena and Carla; brother, Lonnie; and beloved dog, Ginger.
A Celebration of Gail's life will be at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington. Visiting hours will begin at 1:00 P.M. and last until the time of service. Pastor Joe Berkobien will preside.
