Cindee Ann Shaffer

Cindee Ann Shaffer of Millington, formerly of Davison, age 72, died Wednesday March 11, 2026 at McLaren-Flint. Honoring her wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held. Those desiring may make contributions in Cindee’s memory to the Leader Dogs for the Blind (www.leaderdog.org).

Cindee was born in Flint Michigan on March 17, 1953 the daughter of the late Oliver and Maxine (Sturgeon) Ude and has resided in Millington the last thirty years, spending most of her life in Davison. She was joined in marriage to Arnold Shaffer on December 4, 1982 and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2020. Cindee is a graduate from Davison High School Class of 1971 and attended Baker College. She had been an active member of Davison Lion’s Club and supporter of the Lions Leader Dog Program. She enjoyed numerous types of crafts especially cross stitching and sewing. She also loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by daughter Tonya (William Newman) McMan, and son Scott Ganther and Kim. She also leaves her six loving grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Surviving also is sister Tricia Ude, brother Bill Ude, and a host of extended family and friends.
