Obituary of Gail A. Long
Tuesday June 30, 2025 at the age of 63. Gail was born on July 10,1961. She is predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Mary Finegan; sister, Shery Savarino, parents-in-law several sisters and brothers in law, cousins and friends in the states and in Jamaica as well as my fur babies. Survived my beloved husband, my superhero Bill, my love my greatest joy was my marriage to this smart, funny, adorable, kind, and loving husband my gratitude and love is beyond measure. Also survived by stepdaughter, Megan Jaffarian, and husband, Mike and our granddaughter, Emerson. Siblings Joyce, Tom and Betty, Al, Karen and Greg and especially Nancy. Nieces and Nephews, great nieces, nephews and great great nieces and nephews here in the US and in Jamaica. Many friends in the US and Jamaica.
I loved being a therapist for over 40 years and it was an honor to serve the disenfranchised. Loved being a cook, hosting a variety of dinners, holidays, and parties, reading and traveling, especially to my beloved Jamaica and to all of our trips to California and New England. At my request, no visitation or service but a celebration of life at a later date, casual, fun full of stories and laughter and music and good food ( please feel free to bring a dish to pass our some beverages. My ashes will be scattered in Negril, Jamaica. donations to One Love Brigade 1986 Stillwater Ave., St. Paul, MN 55119, an all volunteer organization and dear to my heart. Please also consider organ donation designation and always remember to volunteer. "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth " Muhammad Ali.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
