Celebrating the Life of Gail Sharon Moller
Our beloved mother and grandmother, Gail Sharon Moller, passed away peacefully on 26 October 2025 at the age of 85.
Born in Aitken, MN to Dewey and Verla (Hans) Lagemann, Gail lived a life full of curiosity, kindness, and connection. She married Ole Moller on 27 September 1969, and together they made their home in Eagan, Minnesota, where they raised their family and built lasting friendships.
Gail graduated from the University of Minnesota and began her career as a microbiologist with the Veteran's Administration. She later worked at The Toro Company, where she was valued for her diligence and kindness. Outside of work, Gail gave her time generously, volunteering at the Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport and at Neighbors, Inc. in South St. Paul-two places where her warmth and smile brightened many days.
Gail loved to travel and cherished her friendships, especially the many hours spent swimming and sharing stories with her YMCA friends. She will be remembered for her gentle strength, her thoughtfulness, and her ability to make everyone feel at ease.
She is survived by her two children, Kelly (married to Kevin Nickell) and Kevin, and four grandchildren-Logan, Paige, Sadie, and Rachel-who will forever carry her love and lessons with them. She was preceded in death by her husband Ole and sister Elizabeth Henry.
A visitation will be held at Klecatsky & Sons Funeral Home in Eagan on Thursday, 30 October 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. A private interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Neighbors, Inc. in South St. Paul, an organization close to Gail's heart: https://www.neighborsmn.org/donate-neighbors/.
