Gail Stanley Soderling

Gail Stanley Soderling, age 80 of West Bloomfield, passed away April 27, 2023. Fiancé of Gail Beron, loving father of Christie Soderling and Diana (Duffey) Soderling-Wolvin, stepfather of Monty (Patty) Marcus and Bryan (Mary) Marcus, cherished grandfather of Elisabeth (Collette), Alec (Hannah), Ian (Emily) and Tyler (Dana), great grandfather of Lucas, brother of Diane (David) Anderson, Dean Soderling and Janet (John) Erickson, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gail had a vast wealth of knowledge and insatiable interest in learning.You could ask a question about almost anything and he would have an answer. He spent the majority of his professional life as a patent attorney and once retired went back to school and earned his bachelors degree in nursing at the age of 69. All of this aside, he will be most remembered by his family as a loving father, fiance', brother, grandparent and friend.
