Gail L. Willman

Gail L. Willman, born on December 21, 1957, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2025, at the age of 67. A devoted homemaker, Gail dedicated her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm and loving home.

Gail's interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. She found joy in knitting little gifts for her family, each stitch a testament to her love and care. Her collection of seasonal decor was a reflection of her appreciation for the small, beautiful things in life, like holidays with the family. Additionally, she cherished the time spent doing ceramics with her mother, a pastime that she kept after her passing. Gail was a member of the South Side Christian Church in Munster, Indiana, where she found community and spiritual fulfillment.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Ernest "Ernie" Willman, who will forever miss her beautiful face and the warmth of her presence. Their love story began when they met while she was working at Yankee Doodle Dandy; she admired his ability to change a tire, a testament to the practical qualities she valued in him.

She leaves behind her cherished sons, Aaron Willman and his wife Jennifer, and Allen Willman and his wife Alicia, whom she always wanted the best for. Her legacy continues through her granddaughter, Arynna Willman, who brought immense joy to her life. Gail is also survived by her brother, Rick Adams, and her sister, Leanne DuRocher-Ledden, who will remember her fondly. Her black cat, Harley, was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Gail was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Ralph and Ramona Adams.

Gail Willman was a woman who loved her family deeply and lived a life filled with simple joys and profound love. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.
