Bonnie Sue Williams, who graced the world with her presence on August 16, 1959, in Dayton, OH, and bid us a fond farewell on September 16, 2025, in Jacksonville, NC, has completed her vibrant journey at the age of 66.

A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Bonnie was truly a force of nature. Her career as a caring CNA for over a decade showcased her remarkable ability to look out for others, often with a mischievous glint in her eye and a joke at the ready. She was a proud member of the DAV Auxiliary, where her stubborn personality and great sense of humor were put to good use.

Bonnie was known for her love of Bingo, where she could often be found volunteering her time, armed with her lucky purple dabber-because what other color would do, since that was her favorite? Her artistic flair extended beyond the Bingo Hall, as she donned her artist's cap and let her creativity flow onto canvases with her paintings. Her collection of elephants and gnomes was renowned and slightly intimidating, but it only added to her whimsical charm.

Preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Everette, and brother Jessie Everette, Bonnie leaves behind a tapestry of family and friends who cherished her dearly. Her legacy lives on through her sons Darrell Williams (Kara) of Hampstead and David Williams of Jacksonville; grandchildren Mackenzie, Sumer, Emerson, and honorary grandsons Taras and Tony who knew her affectionately as Grandma. She is also survived by her brother Bobby Everette of Ohio; sisters Kathy Schaefer (Howie) and Dee Dee Everette, both of Ohio; close friend Caroline, who she lovingly called "Mom"; and her good friend and co-worker Ruthie, affectionately dubbed "Daughter."

In keeping with Bonnie's spirit and the family's wishes, services will be private. Johnson Funeral Home is honored to assist Bonnie's family during this difficult time.

While her physical presence may have departed, her laughter, love, and a rainbow of happy memories will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew her.
