Gale E. Gensemer, 78, of Denver, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
She was born in Lancaster, daughter of the late Roy and Mabel (Kemper) Oberholtzer, and was the wife of Larry Gensemer, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage.
Gale was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Denver, and Denver Women's Club. She enjoyed going to the beach, reading, playing cards, and attending musical theatrical shows. She was an avid Phillies fan and loved watching her grandchildren play sports.
Gale worked several positions for Fulton Bank and retired as the branch manager.
In addition to her husband, Gale is survived by daughter, Lisa Regan, wife of Michael, son, Todd Gensemer, husband of Holly (Loose); 5 grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, Katie, Lucas, and Grace; 4 siblings, Sylvia Schwalm, Joan Emerich, wife of Richard, Glen Oberholtzer, husband of Bettie, and Gary Oberholtzer, husband of Linda.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 1 to 2 PM, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, 420 Main St, Denver. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM, with Rev. C. Michael Roney officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Gale's memory, to your favorite charity.
