Gale M. Howard

Gale M. Howard, a loving and spunky spirit, passed away on November 10, 2024, at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice at Kennesaw Mountain. Born on April 17, 1955, in Lynchburg, VA, Gale dedicated her life to brightening the lives of others, most notably through her work as a talented Cosmetologist.
Gale's zest for life was evident in all she did. Her infectious laughter filled rooms, and her presence was a gift to those who knew her. Bowling was one of her joys, but nothing compared to the love Gale had for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. To those fortunate enough to have known her, Gale was undeniably exceptional-to know her was indeed to love her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Howard; parents, Allen and Louise McKee; brothers, Earl Krantz, Richard Krantz, William Krantz and Danny Krantz; sister, Ester Morris; and grandmother, Gracie Goin.
Gale is survived by her daughters, Brenda Starks (Mickey) and Cheryl Cloud (Lamar); grandchildren, Christian Starks, Kennedi Starks, Jeremy Cloud (Krissy), Jessica Cloud (Kourtney) and Jacob Cloud (Kayla); great-grandchildren, Grayson Cloud, Holden Cloud and Iris Yount; sisters, Marie Bennett and Gaynell Krantz; twin sister, Dale Taylor; as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Mike Ware officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20th from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
